This season we have seen a lot of boot action floating about on the high street and I have to admit…I have bought in to most of them. One style in particular that has made its way onto my feet many a time is the chunky boot.

Now, its got to be said, there are an array of different types of chunky boots out there but the ones im loving and cant seem to detach from my feet are the Dr Martin style…the lace up grungey kinda vibe.

Since Dr Martens are rather expensive, I wanted to share with you a few pairs that give the vibe but on a much more affordable level.

Want the trend but already have too many pairs of black boots? Then these are THE CHUNKY BOOTS for you. Croc has been a big trend this season and this is the perfect way to incorporate it into you wardrobe without being too in your face.

These have a kind of walking boot vibe but with an edgy twist and I’m totally digging it. The suede material makes them less all weather appropriate but add some protectant spray and you’re good to go. These are also really well priced and a great way to incorporate the trend into your wardrobe.

I have to say, these are definitely my favourites. They’re just a simple classic Chunky boot giving that Dr Martens look for an amazing price. These also look like pretty good quality which basically means…these are perfect and you need them in your life. If I didn’t already have a pair from Topshop…I would buy these.

These are possibly the edgy-est of the bunch but Im quite enjoying the zip detail. Makes them a little different and gives that grungey vibe which is ultimately what you want from a pair of chunky boots. These are also the cheapest and look pretty good for the price.

These are a slightly different vibe but oh my do I want these in my life. There is just something about them which just makes me want to run to Topshop right now and buy them. Having the black tone mixed with the stone colour makes them perfect to wear with tights in the winter as well as bare legs and cute dresses in the Summer. When thinking about a new purchase, it always helps when you can style it up for multiple seasons.

If you’re thinking about getting yourself a new pair of chunky boots, I reckon now is the time to do it. Not only is it getting colder and there is a need to keep your feet warm but they will be banging with a cute white dress in the summer.
