Summer is quickly approaching which means we need to get our summer wardrobes ready. I love dressing for summer, theres less layers, more free flowy fabrics and quite frankly everyone just looks so much better in summer. I think that has something to do with peoples mood. Sunny weather instantly makes you happy.
Buying summer clothes isn’t always the easiest. Its a debate with yourself whether its worth spending the money on it, am I going to wear it enough etc. but something I always find worth spending the money on is summer dresses. Summer dresses are always a summer staple and the same styles of dress always come back into fashion so if you don’t get too much wear out of it this year, save it for next year. I bet they’ll be a hot day early in the year where you find yourself rummaging through your wardrobe trying to find something weather appropriate. A dress is an outfit all in itself. No need to worry about what to put with it. Throw on a dress, a pair of trainers and your good to go.
I am a huge fan of the summer dress and actually have a nice little collection going. One of my favourite places to get summer dresses is ZARA. They’re usually around the £30 mark and tend to be made out of lovely fabrics. This year they are killing the summer wardrobe game. I cannot get enough. I have at least 6 new Zara pieces which I absolutely love and you bet ill be going back for more over the next few months. Other stores such as Topshop, Newlook and ASOS also sell some beautiful summer dresses. So in celebration of how much I love a summer dress, I thought id share my top 5 summer dresses on the high street at the moment!
