The snow has gone and finally spring has started to spring…only a little. Spring is my favourite time of year, mainly because its my birthday but also because I love seeing the flowers bloom and everything coming back to life. However, since it is indeed still cold, we have to adapt our wardrobes accordingly. In other words, the knitted jumpers are here to stay a little while longer. I am a sucker for a knitted jumper, I mean you can never have too many am I right?
Since it is a little bit warmer, styling knitted jumpers is less about the layering and more about the styling. I have become the biggest sucker for blue jeans, I literally cannot stay away from them. Im not sure what happened to me, I went from black jeans only to blue jeans always. Blue denim is everywhere this season and its the perfect way to spring up your winter knits. It adds a fresh light spring vibe to your wardrobe and brings out those knits in the best kinda way.
I have styled these blue ripped farleigh jeans from ASOS with that must have jumper which every blogger and their mum got their hands on not too long ago. I am a sucker for a striped knit or a stripe in general. A white top or knit with a black stripe is the perfect kind of spring stipe to add to your wardrobe and works perfectly with a pair of jeans. I have brought everything together with a black belt and a pair of black converse. It ties in the black stripes on the jumper and finishes the look off perfectly. If you’re looking for a nice stripe knit, H&M have some which are a really affordable price.
