Wrapping presents is one of my favourite parts about buying gifts. Knowing that the person you are giving the present to has no idea whats inside is such an exciting moment. I absolutely love giving, I think giving a gift to someone which is well thought out is such a lovely thing to do. I do struggle at times to find the right gift for someone….that person often tends to be my mum or dad. They buy everything they want so I really struggle to find things they will find a use for which isn’t boring. Anyways were here to talk about wrapping not gifts.
I am a sucker for the brown paper packages tied up with string. They’re just so aesthetically pleasing and in my opinion look a lot more grown up and feel luxurious. I feel like I’m a grown up who’s over the printed santa wrapping paper. This year I decided to keep it super simple as after all, its all going to end up in the bin anyways.
I picked up these wooden christmas tree present tags from Tiger and they make the perfect finishing touch to a gift. I chose to write the names on the tags with a fine liner and I just love how it has turned out. Its a personal homemade touch which I think makes everything so much nicer when giving the gift. The star print wrapping paper is from Paperchase and I cannot express how much I love it. I think its my favourite wrapping paper I have ever found. Its gorge.
I have gone down the rustic route with my present wrapping this year. I think I probably will continue to over the course of the next few years, I laaaaaave it. Id love to know what your wrapping is like this year? or if you have any good ideas which can make wrapping even more personal!
