Check is everywhere this season and finding a piece to suit your wardrobe and style can be a little difficult. I have been on the hunt for a check piece which I firstly would actually wear and secondly something that wasn’t going to break the bank. I am that type of person who buys something thats super trendy but then in a few months time realises that I have only worn it once and I don/t like it anymore so I have to be careful with what I buy.
This dress you have probably seen on every blogger ever known and to be honest, those bloggers are the people who convinced me I need this dress in my life. Typically it went out of stock in my size…whats new. BUT the other day I was at work, putting out new lines when I saw this out of the corner of my eye. It had come back in, in petite. Well I just had to buy it. Being a small human, I can fit into core Topshop but when it comes in petite, I will always buy the petite version. Petite fits me that little bit better so I obviously wasn’t going to leave the shop without buying it. And for £32 you can’t go wrong. Not bad for a dress.

Essentially this dress is a pinafore….I wouldnt want to not wear something underneath it as buy itself its not the nicest cut. You could go for an array of different colours with this dress which is what I love about it. Theres so many different colour way options. I have chosen to team a black turtle neck jumper which is an old Topshop number but you can get these everywhere. I love the way the black looks underneath, it ties in perfectly with the black in the dress. Its just devine. I teamed the dress with a pair of tights…obvs its really cold now…and a pair of knee high boots which I have had for years and never wear but they look FAB with this dress and I couldn’t not wear them. It finishes off the clueless vibes perfectly!
I finished off the look with my GORGEOUS pink boohoo jacket which firstly is exactly what the outfit needed and secondly I just still love so much. I also added my Anya Hindmarch bag which suits the look and adds that clueless meets legally blonde vibe that this outfit is turning into.

I mustn’t forget about these amazing nails. I am very impress-ed by them….see what I did there. These are the Impress nails by Kiss and I can’t express to you how good they are. I applied them on a Friday night and they were still in place by the Tuesday. Now I’m really impressed with this as I worked all weekend which involves a lot of hands on work and usually breaking a nail at some point. They stayed on and didn’t budge and I now have a new favourite nail brand. I can’t wait to start wearing them more. Love Love Love.

Since Check is huge this season and stores are bringing out more and more of it, I thought I’d give you a selection of my favourite check pieces on the market at the moment and maybe you’ll find something you like
