A few weeks ago Soph and I took a little trip to a pumpkin patch. This pumpkin patch was in Colchester to be exact and is run by Foxes Farm. I had no idea what to expect, I found it online and it looked pretty good on the website so off we went and it was AMAZING!!!
It was sunny as well…its never sunny in England. Since we’d driven about an hour to get here, it would be rude not to make the most of the pumpkin patch. Que a photoshoot which we spent a good hour doing. Had so much fun with it. Also who knew that you could get pumpkins so big?!
I didnt buy this little pumpkin but as soon as I saw it I thought…thats a charlotte sized pumpkin and then had to make sure I documented it. I did post this on my insta story so if you recognise it…thats why.
My pumpkin patch outfit I felt was quite autumnal and actually works perfectly with the surroundings. I dont know how you feel about that but I think it works. I went for a simple pair of black mom jeans from ZARA which Im loving at the moment. Feeling super trendy. I have teamed them with a cropped jumper from ASOS which I have had for a good few months now and cannot get enough! highly recommend this jumper. I have of course finished the look with a pair of converse…I mean what other shoes would I be wearing?
I had an absolutely fabulous time at The Pumpkin Patch and I would highly highly recommend taking a trip. Foxes farm are known for their maize maze during the summer and their christmas trees at christmas but I had no idea they did pumpkins. It was such an easy roam free vibe and they literally love the idea of people taking photos and getting involved with the pumpkin fun which I just absolutely love. The family who run it were possibly the loveliest family I have ever met, they were so grateful for you spending your money on their pumpkins they’ve spent god knows how long growing. They even knocked a pound off the price of our pumpkins just so that we could split the price evenly. Honestly such a good experience and if you have a chance to pop down, do because they’re so lovely!
