Majorca Style – Embroidered Shift Dress

April 11, 2017
If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you will know that over the last week I went away on holiday and naturally being the clothes obsessed girl that I am, I had to make sure that I shot my outfits to share with you all. This is just the first out of a fair few outfits that you will see over the next month or so. All of the outfits you will see are not holiday only outfits, you can definitely adapt every one for the english summer or wherever you are in the world.
This dress has been sat in my wardrobe for months and months. I bought it at the end of summer last year and because I live in England, there was no chance I was going to get the opportunity to wear it as it got cold pretty quickly. Sadly, you wont be able to get your hands on this dress BUT below I will leave a selection of dresses which have a similar vibe to this one. I adore white dresses in the summer and you can find them in pretty much every store.
If you want this embroidery look but can’t find the dress you’re looking for, purchase a simple white dress and sew a few embroidered patches on a dress. It’s an easy way to create an on trend piece, perhaps for a much cheaper price.
I have teamed the dress with a pair of scrappy heels (the only ones I took with me) which work perfectly with my leather jacket. A pair of red or coral sandals would work even better with this look as the colours would tie in with the embroidery on the dress but sadly hand luggage doesn’t cater enough room for a whole shoe wardrobe. This type of dress gives room for being experimental with your shoes and accessories BUT if you’re travelling light like me, go with a classic pair of shoes such as these heels which you know will go with everything. These are definitely a pair which went with every outfit I took with me and they’re super comfortable. Click here to purchase some for yourself!
What do you think of this holiday look? Id love to know!
