I am a creature of habit and love to stick to the same favourite items in my wardrobe. I want to begin to share with you my wardrobe staples and how I style them. This month it is my good ol’ trusty Leather jacket.
I have been wearing leather jackets for years now and only recently did I get my hands on a real one. I have had many faux leather jackets in the past which I have absolutely loved and I actually still have one from Missguided which makes a great night out jacket or one to wear when I don’t mind getting it ruined. I believe that if you know you’re going to wear something a lot, its worth spending the money on it. This leather jacket is the Balfern Jacket from All Saints and I believe its one of their most popular jackets and I totally see why. Its the perfect biker jacket which is a style I love and gives an edge to any outfit.
Honestly if you’re thinking about buying a leather jacket or not sure whether it will be worth the money, just do it! I have had this jacket since the end of December and I have worn it at least twice a week since then. I think because I know that its an expensive piece, I am keen to get a lot of wear out of it. If you’re not sure on the style of leather jacket that you want, I would recommend going into an All Saints store as they have an array of different jackets to choose from and try on. The Sales advisers in there obviously know what they’re talking about and is why I ended up with this one.
For this outfit, I have gone super minimal to make the leather jacket the statement piece. This jumper is a simple pull over which gives a relaxed feel and gives a soft texture against the leather jacket. I have teamed the jumper with a pair of Topshop jeans and my Zara boots, whats new there!
