I LOVE this outfit. As you many know if you follow my posts, the key to my style is simplicity. I like to keep it simple but added pieces which give interest to the outfit.
This outfit is following the same rule. I recently bought this dress/tunic from Topshop the other week and I love the oversized fit. It gives such a cool edge to the look of the dress. The best thing about oversized pieces is that you can layer underneath them and no one will even know you’ve got 3 vests, 2 t shirts and pair of shorts under there keeping you warm in this cold weather. I am not wearing those things under this for this outfit but if I was wearing it out, I would! Some may say a dress like this isnt flattering at all but I think it works. It doesn’t cling to your body, It just hangs nicely. Theres not much too me so it does just look like I’ve put on my dads t shirt but I’m totally diggin it.
This styled in a slightly casual/slightly night out way, its a bit dressier than the average casual outfit but I love it. I just love it. This would be a great outfit to wear on a night out if you’re not feeling your best as you can have a food baby no one will know. As it is cold, you must not forget a jacket. I am wearing this faux shearling bomber which works perfectly with the urban style of the oversized t shirt. For shoes, I have added these amazing sock boots from Zara which I can’t stop wearing, I love them. They’re such a classy on trend boot and they look good with jeans as well as dresses and skirts and that makes me so incredibly happy. I kinda like the simplicity of the outfit so I didn’t want to go crazy on the accessories but I layered these two chokers which add a little edge to the outfit and bring it together. Did I say how much I love this outfit?
