As a person, I am a strong believer in being yourself and always doing you. We get wrapped up in other peoples opinions and perceptions of life which make us doubt ourselves and what we have been given in this world. First things first, we are all pretty lucky to even be on this planet let alone being able to be the person we want to be and in this day and age we really do have the freedom to be that person. As human beings, we all have struggles with our bodies, our minds and our lives but I want to show you that you are you for a reason and accepting that will ultimately help you gain happier life. I have to say I’m not expert in this field but I hope this post at least inspires just one of you.
There are a range of different things that make you as a person and we often feel like we should change things because the media or people around us say so but we really don’t. We just need a little self belief and encouragement to believe that being you is the only person you can ever be.
I think the number one thing that will help you to be you is believing in yourself. Now this is something that I have struggled with for so many years and still do. I have never felt good enough, in so many different ways and self belief comes from you being the best you can in that situation. We often get beaten down for things we do because you’re slightly wrong or that opinion isn’t right or society says that you shouldn’t have done that and thats where we begin self doubt but why are doubting ourselves when thats what we believe in and we did that thing for a reason. We do things because thats what we want to do in the moment and we all make mistakes but that just part of life and understanding how to deal with certain situations. Those moments are the moments when we are truly ourselves because we wanted to do it and if you want to do something, go ahead and do it. You may regret it or end up being a terrible idea or it could be the best decision you ever made and most importantly don’t let anyone tell you you cant or you shouldn’t do something, just remember to be you and do what you want to do. I mean I made a blog which I love doing and I’m writing this post because I wanted to, whether anyone will think its actually any good or helpful is a completely different situation but I’m doing it and it makes me feel good!
Those are all more of the mental side of things that come into play with self belief but physical things are important too. Im not going to ramble on about how much we should love the body we were given because I want to do separate post on that but something to think about is what is it about you that makes you different. Perhaps you have freckles like me or great lips or a fab bum or an illness, whatever it may be. Those are just examples but there are so many things that make us individual and our individuality is what makes each and everyone of us different and unique and you just have to remember that every other sort of person is already taken. Think of it as your the last prize to be pulled out the lucky dip and you got what got, it works the same for this. You got given a life in this world and you have to live it, equally the way you are is the way you are and you’ve just got to be that person. you.
Remember that if you’re not the person you want to be, how can you change it? don’t do it for anyone else, do it for you. Be the original person you are.
The most important thing about being yourself is being happy. I am always myself, through the decisions I make, the way I react to things, the things I do and I’m pretty happy with the way I am. I have made many mistakes and reacted to things without thinking properly but Ive learnt from that. I mean how many people out there go to the gym everyday and have amazing gym fit bodies and post photos of their muscly bodies which makes us jealous cause we haven’t got that but you know, Im not one of those girls. I hate sport or even thought of going to the gym because thats not me, Im not a sporty girl and wont make myself a sporty girl to be like those people. If you want to do something and have the motivation to do something you’ll do it, if you think about people with the perfect life and the perfect body you’re not going to be happy with you and you’re life. Just count yourself lucky that you’re a healthy human being and have the opportunity to go out and be the person you want to be. Theres so many people in this world who are so unfortunate and dont have the freedom that a lot of us do. Think about that and then think about you’re life and how happy you should be and how being yourself is fabulous.
OWN IT AND BE YOU. YOURE THE BEST YOU AT THE END OF THE DAY BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER YOU.
